Occupational Therapist, Port Pirie, South Australia – Locum contract

Talent Quarter are delighted to be supporting our long-standing client in their search for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team on a locum basis with a view to extending the contract length.

The role

The successful Occupational Therapist will be joining an existing stable team of 3 OT’s to work alongside to support your clients in the community to achieve their movement goals. You will be using a variety of integrated Occupational Therapy services to best serve the needs of your clients in the local community.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementing and evaluating plans and treatment options for clients
  • Coordinating the updating and development of evidence-based resources
  • Providing therapy to clients across a range of acute, outpatient and community settings
  • Undertake clinical prioritisation and triaging of referrals
  • Managing client caseload in line with other organisational priorities

About you

To be considered for the role, you will be a qualified Occupational Therapist who has between 2 and 3 years minimum experience as an OT.

In addition, you will also have:

  • Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Full general registration with AHPRA
  • WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • Excellent organisational skills
