What you will do:

In this role, you will provide care and mentorship to children and young people aged 12-17 residing in 24/7 care facilities. You will perform the following duties:

Assist with daily routines, personal care, meal preparation, household chores, recreational activities, homework support, and guidance.
Administer medications.
Safely transport young people to and from school, day programs, and appointments.
Facilitate and overseeing contact visits, promoting family involvement.
Maintain meticulous records and documentation of your work.

Essential Requirements:

Certificate III/IV/Diploma in Community Services or Youth Work
Current Working with Children Check.
NDIS Screening Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
National Police Check( issued within the last 12 months.)
Current driver’s license.
Comprehensive car insurance.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Medication administration certificate
TCI training (Preferred)
Have experience with challenging behaviour.
Demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts, including days, nights, sleepovers, and weekends.
