Occupational Therapist – Mandurah area, WA
The company
You will be joining an established allied health provider who provides therapeutic services to their clients within the NDIS. Their multi-disciplinary team works with clients across the age span within the NDIS which includes children through to adults, and where appropriate and relevant, their families and carers.
They provide their services to clients across various environments, including clinic-based, at home, school and other locations as required. Although most of their clients are NDIS participants, there may be the requirement to provide services to those clients who seek private services.
The role
As the Occupational Therapist, you will be working with other Allied Health professionals to support your clients throughout the Mandurah area. You will be tasked with providing professional and clinical care to all patients.
The duties and responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing therapy to your diverse caseload based on your areas of interest and passion
- Working as part of a collaborative inter-disciplinary team
- Delivery of high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy throughout the Perth metro areas
- Supporting clients in both clinic and community-based environments
- Continually developing your OT skills by making use of the Professional Development program, internal mentoring and specialised support
About you
To be considered for the role, you will have a tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as:
- AHPRA registration
- Current police clearance
- Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
- Personal Indemnity and Personal Liability Insurance
- Current driving licence
- Full Australian working rights
