***EOI*** Speech Pathologist – Regional and Remote Western Australia
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from motivated and passionate Speech Pathologists for upcoming locum roles across regional and remote areas of Western Australia. These roles will be available from June 2024 and will be various contract lengths between 3 and 6 months (we have other roles beforehand in other areas of Australia).
The role of Speech Pathologist will see the therapists assisting clients with various communication and swallowing issues along with working with various neurological, developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention and evaluation for clients
- Provide speech pathology clinical practice in direct care delivery through application of evidence-based practice and policy
- Educate, support and liaise with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary care
- Ensure all documentation is appropriately updated to the clinical standard required
- Adhere to code of ethics and practices
- Participate in review meetings and case conferences as appropriate
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current and full general registration with SPA
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- Current police clearance
- Current Working with Children Check (state specific) and NDIS worker check (where required)
- Current driving licence
- Full Australian working rights
Location: Positions available will be based in regional and rural/remote areas throughout Western Australia.
Salary: This is dependent on your experience and location – this can be discussed in further detail.
