CAMHS MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN

THE ROLE

Salary: $75 – $85 per hour depending on experience + Super + Salary Packaging

Contract: 3 months initially with the option of extension

Location: Canberra, ACT

Accommodation: Accommodation and travel included

Working in a fantastic team with supportive management, within an inpatient day program, you will provide a four week therapeutic program for 12 – 18 year old’s who present with a moderate to severe mental health illness. You will engage in regular reviews of the young people in the program through twice weekly Multidisciplinary Clinical Reviews and weekly Key Worker sessions. You will require a high level of clinical assessment and clinical decision-making experience. It is vital that you have skills and capacity to draw on your clinical skill set to contribute to the 4-week therapeutic intervention program.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Must be a Psychologist (Provisional not accepted) with AHPRA or Social Worker with AASW eligibility
• Must have strong previous CAMHS experience
• Strong clinical assessment skill set essential
• Experience needed working in a multi-disciplinary team
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Working With Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one
• Covid-19 vaccinated
