Senior Pediatric Clinical Psychologist

Talent Quarter have been engaged with A leading Canberra Health Service to seek an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join a leading Paediatric Gender Service (PGS) team. The service provides support to children, young people, and their families dealing with gender concerns or gender dysphoria.
In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessment, intervention, and leadership to support our patients. You will also provide clinical oversight, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing service development.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical assessments and interventions to children and young people with gender concerns.
  • Lead and supervise the PGS Allied Health team and contribute to service improvement and research.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology and AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience, with a developmental perspective on child and adolescent psychology.
  • Willingness to have occupational work checks inclusive of vaccinations and meet full compliance matters
  • Full Australian Working Rights.
  • Experience or interest in working with gender diverse populations is desirable.
