Senior Occupational Therapist | Sub-Acute Services | Full-Time Permanent

Location: Shepparton, VIC

Salary: Between $83,642 – $95123,60

Our client is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career! This Grade 3 role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop services within Inpatient Rehab, Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM), Palliative Care, and Sub-Acute at Home. You will provide specialist assessment, treatment, and discharge planning to admitted patients while also contributing to service improvement initiatives. Opportunities may exist to provide services in acute care when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred, evidence-based care to inpatients across sub-acute units
  • Lead and support the OT team, offering supervision to students and junior staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient-focused goals
  • Engage in and facilitate a robust professional development program
  • Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within the service

What You’ll Need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with eligibility for Occupational Therapy Australia membership
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Extensive experience in inpatient Occupational Therapy, including assessment, goal setting, interventions, and discharge planning
  • Expertise in a clinical speciality relevant to acute or sub-acute care
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
