Senior Clinical Psychologist

Job description

We at Talent Quarter are seeking a dedicated and skilled leading Clinical Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary team providing gender care to adolescents and adults (16+) in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role will involve working with individuals seeking gender care, as well as those with sexual health conditions that affect their mental wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert clinical assessments and interventions to patients, liaising with external service providers and support networks to ensure effective care.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of client programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervise and train other staff and students, contributing to ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in research, quality improvement, and health promotion activities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • At least 5 years of experience in field, including work with adolescents and mental health assessments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Knowledge and experience working with gender concerns and the LGBTQI+ community is desirable.
