Role Overview:
As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting patients throughout the perioperative journey. You’ll work closely with anaesthetists and the wider surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care during procedures across a variety of specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care during the anaesthetic phase of surgery.
- Assist with preparation and monitoring of patients pre, intra, and post-procedure.
- Operate and manage anaesthetic equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strict infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 12 month’s experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Sound knowledge of anaesthetic procedures and equipment.
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Full Australian working rights.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative or Anaesthetic Nursing.
- ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification.
