About the Role:

You’ll work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing compassionate, evidence-based midwifery care to women and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. With 12-hour shifts and flexible rostering, this role also supports a healthy work-life balance.
In this postnatal midwife role, there is scope to further develop skills in areas such as lactation, women’s health, and psychosocial wellbeing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality midwifery care across the postnatal setting
Collaborate with women, families, and healthcare teams to optimise outcomes
Mentor junior and student midwives
Contribute to the ongoing development of best-practice maternity care models
Support a culture of excellence and family-centred care

About You:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification
Sound clinical knowledge across the maternity continuum, especially postnatal
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to collaborative, woman-centred care
