About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse with skills in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, Recovery, or Day Surgery to join our growing team in Canberra.
You’ll be part of a respected healthcare facility known for its high standards and excellent patient outcomes, working alongside experienced clinicians and supportive leadership.

About You
Essential:

  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration
  • Tertiary nursing qualifications or equivalent
  • Postgraduate certificate or proven experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Perioperative (Scrub/Scout)
    • Anaesthetics
    • Recovery/Post-Anaesthetic Care
    • Day Surgery

Desirable:

  • Paediatric experience or certification
  • Previous specialist or day surgery experience

  • Mentor junior staff and support team learning
  • Ensure safe, cost-effective use of resources and equipment

Requirements

  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Commitment to completing mandatory training (e.g. CPR, fire safety)
