Occupational Therapist – Community-based, Mandurah and Peel region
Talent Quarter are delighted to be supporting our long-standing client to recruit for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join their Mandurah and Peel region team on a permanent basis.
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team within an NDIS provider whose vision is to support, promote and uphold the care needs of their clients at all times to support meaningful and valuable services to the community.

The role
As the Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with NDIS participants with various disabilities within the scheme, other allied health professionals and support workers to deliver quality, person-centred, and customer focused outcomes in an efficient and safe working environment.
The duties and responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide assessment, intervention and evaluation for NDIS participants
- Provide occupational therapy clinical practice in direct care delivery through application of evidence-based practice and policy
- Educate, support and liaise with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary care
- Ensure all documentation is appropriately updated to the clinical standard required by AHPRA and the NDIS
- Adhere to code of ethics and practices
- Participate in review meetings and case conferences as appropriate
About you
To be considered for the role, you will be a qualified Occupational Therapist who has a drive to provide therapy services to your clients in a community-based NDIS setting.
In addition, you will also have:
- Current and full general registration with AHPRA
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Current police clearance
- Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
- Current driving licence
- Full Australian working rights
