Nursing Unit Manager – Neurology & Neurosurgery
Location: NSW
Salary: $150,000 + Superannuation
Subsidised Parking: $20 per fortnight
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (No weekends or on-call)
Are you an experienced nurse leader looking for an exciting opportunity to manage a busy 29-bed neurology & neurosurgery ward? We are seeking a Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) to lead a young, dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
As NUM, you will oversee a high-acuity unit managing a diverse caseload of stroke, neuro, and spinal patients. You will provide strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching while ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Nurse with extensive experience in neurology & neurosurgery (essential)
• Proven management experience (or previous acting NUM experience)
• Ability to handle heavy workloads in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop and mentor the team
• Tertiary qualifications desirable but not essential
• Passion for innovation, patient care, and team development
