Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations for an aged care facility in regional Victoria.

This is a temporary locum contract, offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to manage the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all operational aspects of the facility, ensuring compliance with relevant aged care legislation and standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and caring environment for all residents.
  • Liaise with families, staff, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
  • Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resources efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
  • Handle emergency and crisis management situations effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Facility Manager in an aged care setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage budgets and staffing efficiently.
  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare or aged care management (e.g., Diploma of Aged Care or equivalent).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
