Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations for an aged care facility in regional Victoria.

This is a temporary locum contract, offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to manage the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all operational aspects of the facility, ensuring compliance with relevant aged care legislation and standards.
Supervise, mentor, and support a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and caring environment for all residents.
Liaise with families, staff, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resources efficiently.
Implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
Handle emergency and crisis management situations effectively.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Facility Manager in an aged care setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage budgets and staffing efficiently.
Relevant qualifications in healthcare or aged care management (e.g., Diploma of Aged Care or equivalent).
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
