An exciting full-time opportunity is available for an experienced CSSD Manager to lead and manage the Central Sterile Services Department at a leading private hospital in the Darwin region.
This vibrant healthcare facility services patients from across the Northern Territory, regional Western Australia, and beyond. The hospital offers a broad range of surgical specialties and partners with nearby public services to deliver comprehensive, quality care.

About the Role:
As the CSSD Manager, you will:
- Oversee high-quality sterilisation services for the operating theatres and clinical departments
- Ensure processes align with ACORN, AS/NZ 4187 standards, and best practice infection control guidelines
- Lead, train and support CSSD Technicians
- Monitor compliance, quality assurance, and departmental performance
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Services
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a senior CSSD role
- Solid knowledge of ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 and HICMR standards
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office, databases)
- A strong focus on quality, safety, and team development
