About the Role:
As a Cath Lab Radiographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services in a collaborative healthcare setting. You will work closely with medical staff, nursing staff, and students, ensuring the safe and effective use of medical imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures within a Cath Lab setting, adhering to best practices and hospital guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation regarding radiation usage and workplace safety.
- Provide education and support to less experienced staff, fostering a strong team environment.
- Maintain a strong commitment to radiation safety for both staff and visitors.
- Assist in manual handling activities, including patient transfers, while maintaining a high standard of care.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed radiographer.
- Experience in cardiac or vascular labs.
- Proficiency with Angiography equipment.
- Experience with power injectors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in patient care.
