Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Perioperative (Urology Focus)
Northern Suburbs, Melbourne | Full-Time | 2024 Start

We are currently seeking Associate Nurse Unit Managers (ANUMs) to support our growing Perioperative Services Team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a modern, redeveloped facility with cutting-edge technology, newly expanded clinical services, and a commitment to professional development and patient care.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and clinical guidance across perioperative services, particularly in Urology
  • Support a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate evidence-based nursing care and ensure optimal resource management
  • Foster strong professional relationships with VMOs and multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist with clinical audits and lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in direct patient care as required

    What You’ll Bring
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Recent experience as Shift Coordinator, ANUM, or Clinical Nurse Specialist (desirable)
  • Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing (or working towards)
  • Strong clinical knowledge and alignment with ACQSHC National Standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and model positive behaviours
  • Exceptional communication, time management, and customer service skills
  • Confidence managing a fast-paced and evolving clinical environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office and clinical data systems
  • Current Working With Children Check
