Youth Support Worker Job Opportunity

Talent Quarter is actively seeking dedicated Residential Youth Workers to support children and young people in Newcastle, Hunter, and surrounding areas. We offer a variety of shifts including days, nights, sleepovers, and weekends, ideal for individuals experienced in managing challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily routines, personal care, meals, and housekeeping tasks
• Organizing recreational activities and supervising homework
• Administering medication
• Providing transportation to school, programs, and appointments
• Facilitating family involvement and supervising contact visits
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation

Requirements:

• Current Working with Children Check
• Current NDIS Worker Check
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• National Police Check within the last 12 months
• Valid full driver’s license and comprehensive car insurance
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Certificate III/IV in Community Services, Youth Work, or a relevant qualification
• Assist with Medication (HLTHPS006) certificate
