Team Leader- Occupational Therapist
As the Team Leader of the Occupational Therapy team, you will shape the future of patient care, inspire a dedicated team, and create an unparalleled healthcare experience. You will be accountable for managing the clinical therapists, who may be spread across a geographically diverse area whilst also maintaining a clinical caseload.
As the Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Meet your own KPIs relating to your clinical caseload
- Completing monthly audits
- Complete clinical case reviews with each team member
- Lead team and celebrate goal attainments within the team
- Management of stakeholders
- Contribute to the recruitment process and complete inductions with new employees
- Ensure staff have a current professional development plan and to also contribute to the Professional Development days
- Complete appropriate performance management reviews with your team
To be considered for the role of Team Leader – Occupational Therapy, you must have excellent people management and leadership skills with at least 2 years in a leadership position, excellent interpersonal and communications skills and ideally be experienced working within the disability sector.
Qualifications required:
- Qualification in Occupational therapy (Undergraduate or Masters)
- Registered Health Professional with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and associated Private Indemnity Insurance
- Working with Children’s Check
