About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech Pathologist Team Lead.

As a Speech Pathologist Team Lead, you will work as part of a mobile and community-based Allied Health team which encompasses Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists and Speech Pathologists.

You will use a variety of techniques and interventions to help your patients achieve their full potential, while also providing support and guidance to their families.

What is in it for you?

  • Salary : $95,000- $105,000

As a Speech Pathologist Team Lead- your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

All therapists are responsible in encouraging a positive team culture, where innovation and participation in service improvement in a safe, supportive, and efficient environment is advanced.

  • Attend and perform consultations in a mobile capacity in a defined service area
  • Maintain a clinical caseload, including, but not limited to Neuro, Disability, Paediatric and Aged Care clients
  • Execute relevant reports for key stakeholders in a timely manner to carry out high quality care of their client engagement
  • Provide feedback to employees on their performance and coach for success
  • Coordinate and contribute to monthly case reviews and team training sessions
  • Maintain Team Leader supervision duties around their existing caseload.

What we require from you:

  • At least 5 years(or more) clinical experience
  • NDIS and community-based clinical experience
  • Experience in mentoring students/ junior clinicians
  • Hold a Graduate or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
  • Hold current, unrestricted SPA registration
  • Have worked in a full-time capacity in a therapeutic role for a minimum of three years
  • Have completed and hold current vital documentation as required by your state and as requested by Talent Quarter
