The role
As the Speech Pathologist, you will be working with other Allied Health professionals to support your mixed age range caseload ranging from Paediatric to Adults in the Port Pirie area. You will be tasked with providing professional and clinical care to all patients.
The duties and responsibilities of the Speech Pathologist will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide high quality and culturally appropriate assessment and interventions to NDIS participants who have language, literacy, voice and specific eating, drinking or total communication needs
- Create treatment and therapy plans and assess the effectiveness of these plans
- Implement evidence-based services to meet the need of your caseload
- Liaise with other allied health professionals and stakeholders, as appropriate
About you
To be considered for the role, you will have a tertiary degree in Speech Pathology along with:
- Full registration with SPA
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Current police clearance
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
- Current driving licence
- Full Australian working rights
