The role
As the Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with NDIS participants with psychosocial disability and support workers to deliver quality, person-centred, and customer focused outcomes in an efficient and safe working environment.
The duties and responsibilities of the Physiotherapist will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide assessment, intervention and evaluation for NDIS participants
- Provide speech pathology clinical practice in direct care delivery through application of evidence-based practice and policy
- Educate, support and liaise with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary care
- Ensure all documentation is appropriately updated to the clinical standard required by Speech Pathology Australia and the NDIS
- Adhere to code of ethics and practices
- Participate in review meetings and case conferences as appropriate
About you
To be considered for the role, you will have at least 1 year experience in a similar community-based NDIS role along with:
- Tertiary degree in Speech Pathology
- Current and full registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Current police clearance
- Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
- Current driving licence
- Full Australian working rights
