SOCIAL WORKER – LOCUM CONTRACT

Salary: $60 -$70 per hour + Superannuation

Contract: 3 – 6 months available

Location: Griffith, NSW

Accommodation: Included

Travel: Included

We are currently looking for experienced Social Workers who are interested in locum contracts. Based in Griffith, NSW. You will have a strong background in adult acute mental health. The Social Worker is expected to deliver high quality social work services for consumers and their families/carers in accordance with the ethics and standards established by the Australian Association of Social Workers and other relevant bodies. You must have:

• recognised high level clinical skills enabling you to work across a range of clinical areas within the discipline and able to perform novel, complex and critical clinical services to patients, families and carers with a high level of professional knowledge.
• operate autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision
• have an operational/supervisory role within the team, including planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting on clinical services

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

As well as meeting the above criteria, you must also have the following:

• AASW or AASW eligibility
• At least 2 years minimum experience working within the mental health space as a qualified Social Worker
• Previous experience in acute care and working with adults
• National Police Check or willingness to undergo one
• Working With Children’s Check or willingness to undergo one
• Covid-19 Vaccinations (3 vaccinations including a booster)
