Permanent Role

Full Time – 75 hours per fortnight

Location: WA & NSW

As a Sexual Health Program Manager, you will lead transformative initiatives:

  • Lead Initiatives: Drive initiatives to integrate STI testing into routine primary health care, including adult health checks.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with designated Aboriginal Health Practitioners or Community Engagement Workers to enhance culturally competent contact tracing processes.
  • Deliver Excellence: Provide evidence-based clinical management for STIs and BBVs, ensuring comprehensive testing, treatment, contact tracing, and follow-up care.

What You Need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sexual health, primary health care nursing, or experience within Indigenous primary health care settings.
  • Highly desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in Sexual Health.
  • Strong understanding of health issues impacting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Ability to work independently, reside, and travel autonomously in remote regions.
