We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team working in the Orange/Bathurst area, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Ideally you will need 12+ months’ experience. A passion for helping others, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting young people who display behaviours of concern
  • Caring for young people who are survivors of complex childhood trauma
  • Providing and following therapeutic practices to care and assist each individual
  • Helping to achieve positive outcomes, with a focus on their education, and daily living skills
  • You must be able to display positive role-modelling
  • Give emotional support, build trust and rapport with our clients and young people in residential care
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing for all
  • Completing thorough case notes no time
Your “must have” requirements are:
  • 12 months of demonstrated experience within in area of residential youth care
  • Certificate in Community Services – Level 4
  • Experience in therapeutic training
  • Valid Police Check (within 1 year)
  • WWCC
  • Current First Aid/CPR
  • Valid and full Drivers Licence
