We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established private hospital in the Brisbane region seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join their perioperative services department.

About the Role
As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting anaesthetists in the safe and efficient delivery of perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, ENT, urology, and plastics.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating theatres and anaesthetic equipment
• Provide clinical support to the anaesthetist before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor patient responses during anaesthesia and in recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control protocols
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the theatre department

  What We’re Looking For
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse in a private hospital setting
• Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Anaesthetic competency certification (highly regarded)
