Position Overview

  • As an RN in this organisation, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care to vulnerable people experiencing isolation, who have been marginalised from accessing health and welfare services, at risk of homelessness and experiencing chronic-complex health conditions.
  • You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care, promote health education, and ensure the highest standards of clinical practice are maintained. Key Responsibility

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the wider multidisciplinary health care team to achieve goals and health outcomes.
  • Takes a leadership role in the coordination of nursing and health care enhancing individual’s independence and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurses and other health care workers (assistants in nursing/support workers).

Selection Criteria

  • Personal integrity
  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the AHPRA
  • Current NSW Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with email and other electronic record management systems
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice as a registered nurse
  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
