About the role :
A registered nurse (RN) is a healthcare professional who provides patient care in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
Their responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medication, performing medical procedures, and educating patients and their families on disease prevention and management.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Registered nurses also collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, pharmacists, and physical therapists, to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
- Assess and monitor patients’ health status and vital signs
- Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver patient care
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary
What we require from you:
- APHRA registration
- Minimum 12months experience in nursing
- Flexibility to work full time across shift work.
- Complete COVID Vaccinations & 2022 Flu Vaccination,
- Serology evidence of immunisation status
- Current National Police Check (within 12months)
- WWCC
