PSYCHOLOGIST – CHILD AND WELLBEING

Salary: $106,000 – $110,000 + Superannuation

Location: Close to Perth, Western Australia

Hours: Full Time, however open to part time (3 days a week)

*Must be willing to commit to a minimum 12 month contract, or ideally permanent*

*Rent subsidy available if moving from interstate*

The aim of this role is to provide high quality services to children, young people and their families. You will provide support to enhance children’s social, language, physical, emotional and behavioural development and learning, by providing psychology services, and delivering psychological interventions to clients to improve social, emotional, learning and behavioural outcomes. You will:

• Assess clients as required to develop intervention plans for clients
• Monitor client progress
• Maintain and update client records
• Participation in case conferences as required
• Liaison with external agencies and other consultants as required.
• Provide services in an ethical and accountable manner

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• AHPRA REGISTRATION
• Registered or Clinical Psychologist
• Very strong experience needed working with children and adolescents
• Strong background in child mental health
• NDIS experience would be advantageous
• National Police Check or willingness to undergo one
• Working With Childrens Check or willingness to undergo one
