Our longstanding client is searching for their latest Podiatrist to join their team of professionals committed to advancing the field of podiatry.
Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated podiatrists to join our dynamic team. This role is predominantly assessment-focused, with a significant emphasis on biomechanics and orthotics, comprising 90% of your responsibilities. As a podiatrist, you will provide exceptional care, enhance patient mobility, and improve overall quality of life. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative community that values your expertise and fosters professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of foot and lower limb conditions, focusing on biomechanics and orthotics.
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, including the design and application of orthotic devices.
Follow established protocols for assessments and treatments, ensuring compliance with government organisation policies and procedures.
Provide education and advice on foot health and preventative care.
Document all assessments, treatments, and patient interactions accurately and thoroughly as per government guidelines.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine through ongoing professional development.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry or equivalent.
Registration with the relevant Podiatry Board in Australia (or eligible for).
Strong focus on biomechanics and orthotics.
Ability to follow protocols and procedures for assessments and treatments.
Excellent documentation skills in compliance with government policies and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centred approach.
