Occupational Therapists specialise in symptom management and education in strategies to manage fatigue, sleep hygiene and temperature sensitivity. You will help clients understand their strengths and needs so they can continue to participate in meaningful daily activities and to support overall wellbeing, enjoy hobbies and socialising.

Working largely in client’s homes you will:

  • Conduct assessments to support activities of daily living; functional capacity, mobility, personal care, cognition, upper limb function, communication/access technology, home environment and more
  • Provide intervention to improve independence; equipment prescription and home mods
  • Development and delivery of early intervention and wellness programs – ie. Sleep, Fatigue
  • Senior OTs will provide clinical supervision and coaching to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Occupational Therapy degree
  • AHPRA registration (Limited Reg welcome to apply – supervision is available!)
  • NDIS worker screening check
  • Working With Children Check
  • SA divers licence
