Occupational Therapist – Perth, WA

The company

You will be joining a company who provides the highest quality services to their paediatric and adolescent client, from the age of 0 – 18 years, and their families. They offer effective support that enhances children’s social, language, physical, emotional and behavioural development and learning.

Their multi-disciplinary team includes Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Behaviour Therapists. Their client base is a 50/50 mix of both private practice and NDIS participants. There are 2 clinics in the Midland and Bayswater areas of Perth.

The role

As the Occupational Therapist, you will be working with other Allied Health professionals to support your clients through multiple service delivery models including community visits and centre-based services.

The duties and responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assessing clients and developing intervention plans
  • Providing support to clients in both a clinic and community-based setting
  • Monitor client progress
  • Maintaining and updating client records
  • Participation in case conferences, as required
  • Liaising with external agencies and other consultants when required
  • Providing all services in an ethical and accountable manner

About you

To be considered for the role, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role along with:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Full general registration with AHPRA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Current police clearance
  • Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
  • Current driving licence
  • Full Australian working rights
