Occupational Therapist – Bunbury, WA
Talent Quarter are proud to be supporting our specialist neurological client in WA to recruit for an Occupational Therapist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The company
You will be joining a not-for-profit organisation who specialises in providing support and therapy services to their clients across WA who are living with various neurological conditions such as MS, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, MND and many more.
Joining a multi-disciplinary team who service clients across the Perth metro and regional areas of WA, you will working with therapists who are passionate about providing the right care to people across the state.
The role
The successful Occupational Therapist will be responsible providing assessment, advisory, educational and support service to people with neurological conditions.
In addition to this, daily duties will also include:
- Assess clients to determine suitable interventions and evaluations
- Prescribe appropriate equipment and strategies to clients and families/carers along with relevant training and resources
- Liaise with clients, carers and other stakeholders regarding therapy and interventions
- Working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Provide support to OT students, OT assistants and volunteers, when necessary
- Maintain caseload and ensure that all client records are kept up-to-date
About you
To be considered for the role, you will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration and 2 years’ experience of working as an Occupational Therapist.
In addition, you will also have:
- Tertiary Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with AHPRA
- National Police Check
- Excellent organisational skills
