Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Cultural Competence: Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of the community.
  • Manage Resources: Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and quality improvement activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced Leader: Proven track record in advanced midwifery practice and service coordination.
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional leadership and management abilities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in clinical information systems and quality improvement processes.
  • Knowledgeable: Familiar with NMBA Midwife Standards, NSQHS Standards, and change management principles.
  • Lifelong Learner: Commitment to continuous professional growth.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Midwife.
  • Valid ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call roster and perform manual handling tasks.
  • Compliance with respiratory protection and vaccination requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Midwifery, Health Administration, or Management.
