Midwife/Registered Nurse

Talent Quarter are seeking Midwifes and Registered nurses to work within a busy friendly Nursery unit. This position is within the private hospital sector.

Successful applicant will be working along side a friendly supportive team with the option to pick up shift work Thursday-Saturday each week. this will be a great way to lock in some work during the Christmas period.

As the Registered Nurse your responsibilities include:

  • Working in our busy and dynamic Special Care Nursery
  • Delivering evidence based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety
  • Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
  • Delivering education and support to individuals/patients.

Requirements to be considered for the role:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 12months working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
  • Experience in Maternity Care is desirable
  • Current working with Children Check
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Basic computer skills
