Midwife/Registered Nurse
Job description
Talent Quarter are seeking Midwifes and Registered nurses to work within a busy friendly Nursery unit. This position is within the private hospital sector.
Successful applicant will be working along side a friendly supportive team with the option to pick up shift work Thursday-Saturday each week. this will be a great way to lock in some work during the Christmas period.
As the Registered Nurse your responsibilities include:
- Working in our busy and dynamic Special Care Nursery
- Delivering evidence based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensuring patient and staff safety
- Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients.
Requirements to be considered for the role:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 12months working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Experience in Maternity Care is desirable
- Current working with Children Check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
