Talent Quarter is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse to join a wonderful Community & Crisis Team in the stunning remote regions of Central Australia.

What will you be doing?

  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate, compassionate support for acute mental health crises in remote communities.
  • Mental Health Assessments: Evaluate patients mental health to determine appropriate interventions.
  • Care Plans: Develop and manage individualised treatment plans for mental health conditions.
  • Emergency Mental Health Care: Offer urgent care, including de-escalation and therapeutic interventions.
  • Support Chronic Conditions: Manage and adjust care for ongoing mental health issues.
  • Culturally Sensitive Care: Provide respectful and culturally aware mental health services.
  • Collaborate with Community Services: Work with health care professionals and organisations for comprehensive care.
  • Team of Two: Partner with another nurse to drive across remote communities to deliver mental health services.

What will you need?

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA credentials.
  • Experience working across Communities and within Crisis Teams.
  • REC, MEC and ALS certifications.
  • Possess a valid Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License.
