As a mental health nurse in the community, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those you serve.

You will work closely with patients and their families to provide support, guidance, and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions.

As a Mental Health nurse, your responsibilities will include :

The role of a mental health nurse is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals with mental health conditions, helping them to achieve the best possible outcomes for their health and wellbeing.

• This includes conducting mental health assessments, developing care plans, and monitoring progress over time.
• Mental health nurses may be responsible for administering medications and treatments prescribed by a psychiatrist or other medical professional.
• Provide individual or group therapy to patients, using a variety of therapeutic techniques to address specific mental health issues.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers
• Ensure responsible for ensuring the safety of patients,
• Monitoring for potential harm to self or others and taking appropriate action as needed.

What we require from you :

• APHRA registration
• Minimum 1years experience within sector
• Covid Vaccinations
• Infection Control (Serology)
• Bachelor’s Or Masters
• CBT & ACT experience ideal
• Eligible for WWCC & NPC
