Locum Medical Imaging Practitioner (Radiographer OR Sonographer) – 6 Weeks in Katherine (December 2024)
Talent Quarter is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Practitioner for a 6-week locum position starting in December 2024, based in Katherine, NT. Role Overview:
- Provide quality diagnostic imaging services, including participation in a rotating shift and on-call roster
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure
- Collaborate with medical officers, radiologists, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality imaging
- Provide expert diagnostic imaging across various fields, including general radiography, theatre, trauma, and ultrasound (OB/GYN, small parts, vascular, musculoskeletal, interventional)
Selection Criteria:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science (or equivalent) with eligibility for registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner in Australia
- Recognised Medical Ultrasound qualification with ASAR registration
- Proven experience in general radiography, ultrasound (OB/GYN, small parts, vascular), and trauma imaging
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
