Position: Locum Radiographer/Radiographer-Sonographer
Duration: 4-8 weeks, commencing June 2023
Location: Longreach, QLD

We have an urgent requirement for a Locum Radiographer or Dual Registered Radiographer/Sonographer to join our client’s rural facility in Longreach, QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment while enjoying the picturesque surroundings of a rural community.

Responsibilities:

Radiographer:

• Cover CT and general radiography procedures
• Utilize Siemens Perspective and Siemens Ysio max machines
• Perform cannulation (no interventional work)
• ON CALL for CT/X-ray only 1 week and weekend in 3

Radiographer/Sonographer:

• Possess a broad skill set including Obstetrics and Gynae
• Operate Phillips EPIQ ELITE machines
• No NUCHALS required
• Provide onsite administrative support with offsite Teleradiology service

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification and registration as a Radiographer or Dual Registered Radiographer/Sonographer
• Demonstrated experience in CT, general radiography, and/or Obstetrics and Gynae (depending on the role)
• Proficiency in operating specified equipment (Siemens Perspective, Siemens Ysio max machines, or Phillips EPIQ ELITE machines)
• Ability to cannulate for the Radiographer role
• Availability to work on call as required
