Locum OT

– North Central Victoria

-ASAP start date

-Ongoing to cover permanent recruitment

-45- 65 per hour

– Working as a part of our large 30 staff Primary Health team.

  • Maintain a clinical load across relevant areas of Occupational Therapy as required
  • Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide appropriate OT services including assessment, development of therapy goals, intervention and management to clients, patients and families using a settings approach
  • Liaise with family members of clients as appropriate to plan and deliver care
  • Provide relevant education sessions to specific target audiences as required
  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external health service providers to provide a coordinated approach to care
  • Be involved in health promotion activities and programs (as relevant)
  • Complete intake work in each area of service (as relevant)
  • Provide supervision and direction to the Allied Health Assistant
  • Involvement in student placements including medical, nursing, allied health and work experience students
  • Other OT specific duties that may be required (as determined appropriate by the relevant coordinator/manage
