Clinical Psychologist- Karratha
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health, behavioural and emotional disorders with a paediatric caseload.

Salary: Full-time Positions starting at $80,000- $120,000 annually + Super
- Flexible workplace arrangements – 9-day fortnight/rostered days off/part time options

As a clinical psychologist your responsibilities will include:
- Provide assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders as well as assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental/intellectual and learning (dis)ability.
- Perform psychological assessments to appraise cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning of children and their families.
- Analysis of client needs to provide individual, group and team interventions and the development of treatment programs using culturally appropriate and evidence-based practice.
- Safe and ethical implementation of evidence-based therapies.
- Advise and consult with Mental Health Team staff on psychological aspects of casework and interventions.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary discussions to ensure best practice and quality intervention planning.
- Provide supervision, mentoring and facilitation of skill development to the Mental Health Team as required.
What we need from you:
- Two years’ experience post-graduate degree in clinical or counselling psychology or approved equivalent
- General Registration with APHRA
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and support for staff and/or students.
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural setting considering the social determinants, particularly as they relate to Aboriginal Health and Culture.
- Ability to apply for Medicare provider number. (desirable)
- Availability to travel across the region, including overnight stays (desirable)
- Evidence of current professional registration
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current C Class drivers’ licence
