Allied Health Assistant
Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Allied Health Assistant as follows:
- Working in a Private Hospital setting
- Located on Sydney’s North Shore
- To start as soon as possible
- 5 days per week (can include 1 weekend day if preferred)
- Required until at least 31 December (with possible extension)
- The role includes transferring patients from their Hospital rooms to hydrotherapy, gym etc so strong manual handling skills required for physical activity
- Drivers licence a bonus but not essential – if in receipt of one, you may occasionally be asked to pick up patients within a 10km radius of the Hospital
- Helping therapists in day to day activities
- Preferred applicant will have previous Hospital experience in an AHA position
- OT or Physiotherapists awaiting (or without) AHPRA registration also desirable
