ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

ABOUT THE ROLE

Salary: $35 per hour plus Superannuation

Location: Coffs Harbour, NSW

Hours: Full Time, 5 days a week

Contract: Initial temporary contract with possibility for ongoing extension

As part of the current administration team you will provide generalist administrative support to Caseworkers within a child protection team. The primary function of this role will be to provide administration support and responsibilities will include:

– Contribute to the provision of a warm and welcoming service answering the telephone, and proactively participating to general housekeeping

– Supporting Case Managers

· General administration duties including (but are not limited to) minute writing and taking, preparing reports, spread sheets, travel bookings and creating files

· Identify gaps or improvements that can be made to make the service more receptive and efficient.

· Provide administrative support for finance processes and transactions

· Data Entry tasks

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Strong administrative experience
  • Experience using Word and Excel
  • Friendly, helpful and can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Working With Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one
